1. Introduction

Welcome to WTF Am I Signing? ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Chrome extension, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Definitions

"Service" refers to the WTF Am I Signing? Chrome extension, website, APIs, and all related tools and services provided by us. "User" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service. "Content" refers to all text, data, information, analyses, risk scores, and other materials generated by or displayed through the Service. "Wallet" refers to any cryptocurrency wallet software that interacts with the Service. "Transaction Data" refers to the blockchain transaction information that the Service analyzes on behalf of the User.

3. Use of Service

The Service is provided as an informational and educational tool designed to help Users better understand cryptocurrency transactions before signing them. The Service does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You acknowledge that: (a) the Service provides automated analysis that may not capture all risks associated with a given transaction; (b) risk scores and explanations are generated algorithmically and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any financial decision; (c) you are solely responsible for all transactions you choose to sign or reject; (d) the Service does not execute, modify, or cancel any transactions on your behalf; and (e) you will use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Accounts

Certain features of the Service may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or are used for unauthorized purposes. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by WTF Am I Signing? and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks, service marks, logos, and trade names may not be used without our prior written consent. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works based on the Service or any part thereof.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WTF AM I SIGNING? AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, FUNDS, CRYPTOCURRENCY, TOKENS, OR OTHER DIGITAL ASSETS, WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability. You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and ceasing all use of the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property rights.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect, either through the Service interface, via email, or by posting the updated Terms on our website. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
